The highly anticipated Human Library event is back! In partnership with the Human Relations Commission: Toledo, Owens Community College, Welcome Toledo-Lucas County, and the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, this powerful event creates space for open conversations that challenge stereotypes and build understanding.

At the #HumanLibrary, attendees don’t check out books—they check out people. These “Human Books” share their personal stories in one-on-one or small group conversations, helping others see the world through a new perspective.

We’ve got our “books” selected—individuals from all walks of life ready to talk about their lived experiences, break down bias, and answer your questions in a respectful, judgment-free space.
